I noticed most of you are scared to death over dogs. Why? My 4lbs chihuahua is not mean. She loves to play and cuddle. I read that you consider them diseased… Well this is America. Our dogs have shots, vacines, and are not diseased. I bath my chihuahua weekly so she’s not “dirty” either.

In your own country, go ahead and be scared of dogs. In your country they are dirty & diseased. But if you plan to live here in America, live with it. We love our pets as if they were our children. Stop being so scared of them.

If you are going to freak out, abuse them, scream, run, whatever at the sites of a dog, please go back to whatever country you came from. Here, things are different. Accept them. We would accept your culture and speak your language if we ever entered into your country. At least return the gesture. 

Educate yourself or go back to your own country.

Ummmmmm we should stop feeling how we feel or go back to our countries? What?

I was brought up a Muslim and yes, I will admit my upbringing (NOT THE UPBRINGING OF EVERY MUSLIM EVER, MIND YOU) has made me a little shifty around dogs. We were told over and over that dogs are “unclean” and stuff.

While I love to pet them and play with them, I don’t like it when they lick me. On the other hand, I LOOOOVE cats. Cats are adorabibble. Dogs are adorabibble minus drool and saliva. I might shy away from playing with a dog, a small dog, because they make me kinda anxious. I would NEVER hurt a dog or mistreat one, EVER. Animals are awesome.

Please be understanding of my life experience. I don’t hate dogs, I don’t think they are dirty, I just get jumpy around them. And yes, I am a Muslim. That may or may not have anything to do with my skittish nature around the canines. If it does, then so be it, but I am not some crazy animal abuser. I’m a random chick who prefers cats. End of story.
